REGENERATIVE NON-SURGICAL

KNEE TREATMENTS

Knee pain can affect your quality of life, and even be debilitating. The most common treatments for knee pain are steroids, physical therapy, arthroscopic surgery or a knee replacement.

A total knee replacement is an invasive surgical procedure where surgeons replace damaged cartilage and bone with metal implants and a plastic spacer. Sometimes, it can take up to a year for a patient to fully recover.

Other Regenerative Therapies

At Connected Health, we use natural regenerative techniques to help your knee joints heal and repair without surgery. Our alternative knee pain treatments can help reduce pain with very few side effects. The result is an improved quality of life with little-to-no recovery time. Our patients are raving about their results and the time that was saved by not having to go under the knife. Not to mention all of the potential long-term side effects that surgery can bring...

REGENERATIVE NON-SURGICAL

SHOULDER AND WRIST TREATMENTS

Shoulder pain is a problem that most people—at some point in their lives—deal with. Estimates suggest that two-thirds of Americans suffer shoulder discomfort. The cause of shoulder pain can vary from direct injuries to degenerative conditions.

Most people have shoulder pain due to overuse. A repetitive throwing motion or blunt force can cause the surrounding tendons to swell. The body’s reaction increases the pressure on the joints and nerves, which makes it challenging to use the arm with complete range of motion. Some other causes of shoulder injuries include:

  • Arthritis
  • Bone spurs
  • Broken shoulder or arm bone
  • Bursitis
  • Dislocation
  • Pinched neve
  • Torn cartilage or rotator cuff

The symptoms depend on the precise cause. For instance, a torn rotator cuff involves fraying the tendons of the muscles that stabilize the shoulder joint. Because of its location, someone with this injury will likely have trouble lifting their arm and may hear a clicking or popping noise when they move it.

Plasma Rich Protein (PRP) Injections

FREE CONSULTATION
We utilize the very latest in natural regenerative therapies to help decrease inflammation, improve pain, and repair injured or degenerated tissues. PRP is growing in popularity in medicine due to its noninvasive nature and healing properties.

Benefits of PRP Treatment
– Decreased Pain
– Tissue Healing
– Decreased Inflammation
– Minimally Invasive
– Less Side Effects (Compared to steroid injections or surgery)
– Natural and Organic (from your own body)
– Minimal to No Down Time

What is platelet-rich plasma?
Platelet-rich plasma consists of two elements: plasma, or the liquid portion of blood, and platelets, a type of blood cell that plays an important role in healing throughout the body.

What is a PRP injection?
After creating platelet-rich plasma from a patient’s blood sample, that solution is injected into the target area, such as an injured knee or a tendon to stimulate and/or accelerate the healing process and decrease pain.

BACK, HIP AND ANKLE TREATMENT

Many are living with lower back pain. Experts project that roughly 80 percent of people will experience significant back pain in their lives.

Whether it is a dull ache or a stinging inflammation, lower back issues are cumbersome, to say the least. They are one of the most common reasons why people miss work and everyday activities. Some of the symptoms can include:

  • Difficulty standing, bending, or lifting
  • Muscle aches
  • Numbness
  • Shooting or stabbing pain
  • Weakness

Not all cases of back pain are the same. There are several different causes. For instance, if a disc slips in someone's back, it can push against the spinal cord or nerve roots. The additional pressure on the nerves will flare up whenever there is twisting, bending, or rotating in any capacity.

Lower back pain can be a direct result of an injury, such as playing sports, exercising, or inadvertently falling. It may also come from medical conditions like arthritis, scoliosis, spinal stenosis, Piriformis syndrome, or sciatica. The only way to know what the causes are (and the proper cure) is to visit a back-pain specialist.
